Easter Gospel Blessings

Easter is here! What a time to celebrate and remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He is risen and we are reconciled to the Father through Him. Salvation is available to all people, yet so few people know this wonderful news. That is why we serve in Leader Impact! Our goal is to communicate this life giving message to a lost and hurting marketplace; in Ottawa, Hamilton, and beyond.

This week alone, two businessmen came to saving faith in Christ. Two others received assurance of salvation for the first time. What a privilege to help people see that God loves them and has a wonderful plan for their lives!

This Easter weekend many of you will be spending time with family and friends. Could this be your chance to share the good news of God’s love and forgiveness in a winsome way? Below is a simple way to share your faith from John 3:16.

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God Loves – For God so loved the world… It all starts with His love and care for us, His creation. He knew we would blow it and not handle our freedom properly, so He reached out to us in love.

God Gives – that he gave his one and only Son… In love He gave his Son, Jesus as a Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. He paid a debt we could never repay.

We Believe (Trust) – that whoever believes in him… Knowing we are needing help, we trust in Jesus to save us from our sins and God responds in love.

We Receive – shall not perish but have eternal life… We receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and become children of God… not just creatures, but children. We also receive the Holy Spirit who gives us power to change and who helps guide us.
